APRCET 2018 RESULTS

The following are the provisionally selected in the written test and eligible for interview for admission into Ph.D (Full Time and Part Time) / M.Phil (Full Time and Part Time) in various Universities of Andhra Pradesh State. The candidates are advised to visit the concerned University website for interview schedule and other details.

2018 results of APRC at the Andhra University Platinum Jubilee Hall was released by Minister Ganja Srinivasa Rao.These tests were conducted for the replacement of the PhD, Mphil Seat in the University.24,082 members are applied, in that 20,458 members are attended the test, in that 5.46% that means 1116 members are qualified

Qualifying Criteria

The qualifying criteria for APRCET 2018 shall be 50% for open category APRCET 2018candidates and 45% for OBC/SC/ST/PWD categories.

Ranks/Final Marks

Admissions Committee will give ranks/final marks awarded out of 200 after clubbing the marks of entrance test (180 marks) and interview marks (20 marks).

Interview

Qualified candidates will be called for the interview by the concerned University Department. Candidates are required to discuss their research interest/area through a presentation before a duly constituted Committee. The interview is for 20 marks. The candidate will only qualify the interview if he/she pass the following criteria-

• The candidate possesses the competence for the proposed research. • The research work can be suitably undertaken at the Institution/College. • The proposed area of research can contribute to new/additional knowledge.

APRCET 2018 Counseling

After the declaration of APRCET 2018 result, candidates will be called for the further counseling and admission process by the conducted body. The counseling of APRCET 2018 will be conducted by the concerned state based on the fulfillment of their eligibility criteria, applicable reservation policies.
