Telangana Common Entrance Tests (CETs) Schedule 2019


Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has announced exam dates of Common Entrance Tests (CETs) 2019. These include dates for EAMCET, ECET, ICET, PECET, LAWCET, PGLCET, PGECET, EdCET.
All eight entrance exams are scheduled in Telangana in the month of May. EAMCET will be held from May 3rd to 6th. ECET will be held on May 11th. ICET is scheduled on May 23rd and 24th. PECET will be held on May 30th. LAWCET is on May 26th. PGLCET is on May 26th. PGECET is on May 27th to 29th. EdCET is on May 30th and 31st.
Every year, since inception of the Telangana state, these exams are organized for admission to different programs. Such as the EAMCET exam is for candidates who seek admission to first year of undergraduate engineering and technology, pharmacy, science programs. It is prominently for students who are completing class twelfth and wish to pursue professional courses.


Likewise ECET is for admission to second year of engineering and pharmacy undergrad degrees for diploma holders. Then ICET is for MBA and MCA admissions. It is a popular entrance exam for management and computer application post grad aspirants. PECET is for admission to Bachelors in Physical Education and Diploma in the same field.
LAWCET, as the name suggests, is for admission to law programs. While it is for undergraduate law programs, the PGLCET is for postgraduate law programs. Interested and eligible candidates for respective exams can appear in them to seek admissions.
Another exam for postgraduate admissions is PGECET, which is for admission to postgraduate programs in engineering and technology, architecture, pharmacy.
As of now, only the exam dates have been announced. Usually TSCHE assigns the responsibility of holding each CET to a university in the state. They, in coordination with the Council, publish exam notifications in the month of March.
Students of Telangana state can mark the exam dates in their calendar and chart out exam preparations with exam date in mind. When application form becomes available, they can apply to appear in exam.
