National Open University, has offered M.Ed. programme through Open and Distance
Learning (ODL) mode for several years and it was discontinued due to certain
impositions laid down by the statutory body. You are aware of the importance of
M.Ed. programme for the teachers, teacher educators and educational personnel
for their professional and career enhancement. If offered through Open and
Distance mode, enhances professional and
career advancement opportunities to working teachers, teacher educators and
others without either taking a break/leave from their work place or continue
their job/career simultaneously. SOE has been getting/receiving a lot many
querries from you and in this regard a questionnaire has been prepared to
sought your opinion or perception about the importance of MEd through ODL so
that your keenness to relaunch this programme be communicated to the concerned
authorities.
