It is to inform that, All District
Educational Officers and Regional Joint Directors of School Education in the
state as per reference cited the NCERT offering an online course in Science
education for teachers of upper primary stage (Classes VI-VIII). It is an
opportunity for professional development of teachers through online mode. The
objective of this course is to enrich teachers' understanding of science
concepts and the related teaching learning processes. The course would
emphasize handson, inquiry based learning in schools and relating it to their
everyday life.
The course consists of 40 modules, to be
completed in 40 weeks, requiring an effort of 8-10 hours per week. On
successful completion of the course, participants will be awarded a Diploma by
NCERT. The course will commence from October 25, 2021.
The registration fee for this course is
Rs. 2,000/-only. The mode of payment is ONLINE ONLY. For more information visit
