Ex-Officio Project Coordinators and Additional Project Coordinators, Samagra
Shiksha in the State are hereby informed that the Joint Secretary
(Institutions), Ministry of Education, DoSE&L, Govt. of India, New Delhi
has informed that National Education policy 2020 has highlighted the mental
health as one of the concerns to be addressed for the children’s optimal
development and learning. The Ministry of Education has undertaken MANODARPAN initiative
to provide psycho social support to students, teachers and families for mental
health and emotional well being during Covid-19 pandemic out break and beyond
leading to the closure of the schools have forced the children to remain confined
to their homes for long periods of time. A mental health and well being survey
is being taken up for the students of 6th to 12th classes across the different
regions of the country.
Hence, the Ministry of Education, DoSE&L, Govt. of India, New Delhi has informed that a survey will be conducted through Google forms
(link: https://forms.gleuG9mzbTSoDS335Uy6).
A brief video describing the purpose of the survey and easy administration of the survey by school heads and teachers link (https://drive.google.com/file/d/lqY4VcSGK2UmxeRSvjEknbGLjGlkltz/view), and NCERT, MANODARPAN cell will support in operating above links.
Therefore, they are hereby requested to
follow the links and send the same Google forms to all the Government schools
having good ICT facilities so as to get the information from the students
through Google forms. School Heads and teachers should ensure the daily reports
in prescribed forms and submit at the earliest and invite whole hearted participation
of all Government schools in the State.
