The attention of all the Regional Joint
Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers and Principals of
DIETs in the state is invited to the references read above, wherein this office
was issued instructions for implementation of the WE LOVE READING PROGRAMMEE
for a systemic transformation of all the students from non-readers to fluent
readers with complete comprehension. In this connection we need to encourage
the students, Teachers to read good number of library books and also to participate
in the competitions during the summer vacation.
2. As a part of summer vacation-2022 all
the students are informed to get books from the school library to read during
summer holidays, and after reading the books they may be exchanged those books
with their friends.
3. To encourage reading habit, School
Education is going to conduct “We Love Reading Competitions” (WLRC) for
students, teachers, school head masters, student teachers, teacher educators
and DIET Principals. The details of competitions are annexed. They are
requested to upload their responses in the given link. (https://forms.gle/voBnKyqMWPM2tR1f7).
4. Therefore, all the Regional Joint
Directors, District Educational Officers and Principals of DIETs in the state
are instructed to give wide publicity about the activities and competitions
related to “We Love Reading” (WLR) and also requested to take necessary action
and motivate all the students, teachers, head masters, student teachers, Teacher
Educators and DIET principals to participate in the competitions.

acknowledged.
