Reading English Made Easy
In CCE, reading component plays an important role. It is the reading passage through which a teacher tries to impart the integrated skills of the language to the students. But many students in our classes are found to be the struggling readers. Then how can we expect such children to learn the integrated skills by reading the passages of our text books on their own? In order to meet the challenge and make the struggling readers read the given passages fluently on their own, this bridging gap "READING ENGLISH MADE EASY "material hasbeen evolved using the frequently used sight words.This reading material aims at enhancing the reading ability of the low proficient readers through the simple , frequently used and repeated words technique. Before making the students read the given passage ,the repeated words, the frequently used words and the new words of each passage may be practised by the students to have the desired effect. This material , I hope, fills the gap between the proficient and low proficient readers by instilling the confidence in the minds of the struggling readers. Happy teaching of reading English
