AP: Extension of Curfew in the State up to
21.08.2021 to Contain the spread of Covid-19
HM& FW Department – Extension of
Curfew in the State upto 21.08.2021 to Contain the spread of Covid-19 - Orders
– Issued.
1. Government of Andhra Pradesh has
taken several steps to contain the spread of Covid-19 with focus on
test-trace-treat-vaccinate and inculcating COVID appropriate behaviour amongst
the people.
2. After a thorough review of the
Covid-19 situation and keeping in view of the number of Covid positive cases,
Government hereby extend the curfew upto 21.08.2021 from 10.00 PM to 6.00 AM in
the State.
3. The Regulations and instructions
issued in G.O. 10th read above, shall be in force upto 21.08.2021 along with
the guidelines issued on gatherings and congregations in G.O. 13th read above.
4. Any violation of the aforesaid
instructions shall result in prosecution under Sections 51 to 60 of Disaster
Management Act, 2005 and Section 188 of IPC as well as other applicable Laws.
5. The Collectors & District
Magistrates, Commissioners of Police and Superintendents of Police shall
enforce these orders in the State scrupulously.
6. These orders shall be in force upto
21.08.2021.
