It is to inform that the State Government have decided to perform Independence Day Celebrations, 2018 in a befitting manner. A Ceremonial Parade will be held at Government Degree College for Men Grounds, Srlkakulam at 09:00 noun on Wednesday, the 15a August. 2018- where, the Honbie Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh will take the salute. The programme fee the independence Day Ctaparadons on 15" August, 2028 M ine Districts ;$ appended to this Memo for informaven and suklance.
2. The HOntIe Ministers, as nominated by the Government will unfurl the National Flag and take salute at a Guard of Honour, provided by the Perim, the Home Guards and the NCC. List of Neale Ministers nominated to unfit' the Nat/Coal Flag at DIStna Head Quarters will be commuhcated separately. Invitations to the function should be extended to the prominent Officials, non, Officials and Freedom Renters.
3. As regards. Celebrations In villages, toe Collector a, District Magistrate of the DistNet concerned shall entrust the respertsibilibes to the concerned officials or Revenue Department for arrangements. In other Maces, the Heads M InstitutiOns shall hoist trig National Flag and explain the significance of the Day.
4. The Government desires that Special functions shouSti be arranged on that day ni all the Schools, Colleges and other InstitutienS, arranging Rag Salutations. Community singing of the National Anthem and distribution of sweats to chtdren etc. the Heads of Departments concerned are requested to issue suitable instructions to all institutions uncle/ their control to ensure tnat the Independence Day CelebeatiOns by these InStqutIons and that of the Local Pod= de not Clash wth those at Head Quarters.
5. The other functiOns of the day may Include Items like sports (Including Sports), DT. DISMay or display of other skills by College/School Students; planting Of trees; inter-SchOM/Inter-CcAleglate debate; community work; launching Of any Important scheme for rural development; speech by selected lbotsignt On the sirifiCance of 15. August; cultural programmes; distribution of prizeS/CertInCateirneddIS roe works in fields Re National InterestS, Smell savings, ramify planning of any other aspect of need development. These programmes be organized wherever reaSIble.
6. AS usual, there will be no reatrictOn on the flying of the National Flag on the Independence Day; the Natonal Flap could be flown on all the Public buildings. The recolents of Civilian, Tanvapatra Awards and the freedom Fighters shoild &ISO be Invited and given prominent place in the seating arrangements as per the protocol Instructions, at the Guard of Honour and for other functions.
