APPSC – Web Note for On Implementation of
EWS Reservation
It is here by informed that the
Government of Andhra Pradesh through its orders in G.O.Ms.No.73, G.A.(Ser.D)
Department, Dt:04/08/2021 decided to implement 10% reservation to Economically
Weaker Section of the citizens, for appointments in initial posts and services
under the State Government.
In terms of G.O.Ms.No 104, GA(Ser-d)
Department ,Dt:23/09/2021, the candidates with in the age group of 18-47 years
are eligible for applying for the posts.
The Commission accordingly has initiated
all necessary steps for filling up of the posts earmarked for Economically
Weaker Section in various services through upcoming notifications to be issued
shortly. In this regard all the aspirants for appointment for various services
under Economically Weaker Section quota and those who are already registered
their bio-data particulars with the Commission in One Time Profile Registration
shall update their status of E.W.S.
The desirous and eligible Economically
Weaker Section candidates, as such shall login the Commission’s web site viz., https://psc.ap.gov.in, with His / Her
registered OTPR number and update the EWS particulars, before applying for the
posts.
