guidelines - Issued.

The attention of all the District
Educational Officers and Principals of IASES/CTES/Govt. DIETs in the State is
invited to the reference 3rd cited and they are here by informed that it is
proposed to organize a school safety and student safety day on 28.01.2022 in
all schools under all managements.
2. Further they are requested to issue
necessary instructions to the respective field functionaries on the following:
a. To follow the guidelines suggested by
the departments concerned during the orientation on 07.01.2022 and to ensure
all the suggested activities to be followed preferably by 28th January 2022 and
to celebrate School safety day on 28th January 2022.
b. While celebrating School safety day
on 28th January 2022, the headmaster of concerned school shall ensure that
field level officers of line departments shall be invited to school for
deliberating speech / demonstration on school safety with respect to their
departments concerned.
c. All Headmasters shall be instructed
to submit the action taken report in CSE portal through their respective school
login on school safety day and implementation of school safety guidelines.
2. Therefore, all the Regional Joint
Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers and Principals of
IASES/CTES/Govt. DIETs in the state are requested to take further necessary
action accordingly.

Suggested activities for conduct of
school safety day on 28.01.2022
1. School safety day shall be celebrated
in all schools under all managements as per the schedule.
2. Coordination with all line
departments such as health, police, revenue, women and child welfare and fire
departments.
3. Officials from each department shall
be invited to schools to deliver their suggestions to the students regarding
school safety and student safety.
4. Every school shall have its own and
specific plan of action including display of evacuation plan, precautions to be
taken regarding dilapidated buildings, High Tension wires over the school or
ground, un used wells etc., if any.
5. Displaying “Danger symbols” on
dilapidated buildings, old wells and other needy places.
6. Creating awareness on installation of
FAST App, and its content.
7. All Headmasters shall be instructed
to submit the action taken report in CSE portal in their respective school
login on school safety day and implementation of school safety guidelines.
