Dear RJDs, DEOs, Dy EOs and MEOs,
1) The Andhra Pradesh government
mandates the use of state-prescribed textbooks in all recognized government and
private schools. These textbooks must be provided to all private school
students.
2) Comprehensive guidelines and an SOP
for textbook indenting and distribution to private schools have been designed
as done last year to ensure textbooks are provided to students studying in
private schools.
3) Printed textbooks for the 2024-25
academic year are available at designated bookshops, with title-wise rates
notified.
4) To collect books, private school HMs
must place orders at school login https://cse.ap.gov.in with a 5% advance
payment. The remaining balance is payable at the bookshop where the books can
be collected. The list of designated bookshops is available in their logins.
5) Regional Joint Directors (RJDs) and
District Education Officers (DEOs) are requested to follow the instructions
issued by the Commissioner of School Education (CSE) sir and the SOP on
textbook sales and distribution. Detailed information, including MRP rates of
each title, class-wise set costs, bookshop details, and available bookshops, is
annexed.
You are requested to communicate these
instructions to all field functionaries and private school management in the
state to ensure that all students in private schools receive the
government-prescribed textbooks for the AY 2024-25.
