The attention of the District
Educational Officers / Regional Joint Director of School Education in the State
is invited to the reference 1st read above. As the Government have
taken a decision to transform education in Government schools to make students
globally competitive addressing the learning gap, and to ensure appropriate
class- specific learning outcomes, blended learning using Digital devices and content
is proposed.
Further, the Government of Andhra
Pradesh have provided 5.18 lakhs tabs to VIII Class Students of all Government
Schools preloaded with BYJU'S Premium content at free of cost. The said tabs
are being distributed to the 676 Mandal delivery Points and the same must be installed
with SD Card and distributed to Class 8 students after launching of the program
by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on 21.12.2022, i.e from
22-12-2022 to 28-12-2022 at Mandal headquarters in presence of Ministers /
local MLA.
The District Educational Officers in
consultation with the District Collector and local MLAs, are instructed to
prepare the Constituency wise action plan, which will consist the Name of the
School where the launching programme will be conducted at Mandal from
22.12.2022 to 28.12.2022. One mandal may be taken at one time. All the
activated tabs shall be pooled and the mandal distribution shall be exhausted
and then move to next mandal.
The District Educational Officer shall
submit Mandal wise constituency plan in consultation with the District
Collector to the Commissioner of School Education by 19.12.2022 evening clearly
indicating the number of tabs that are being distributed every day constituency
wise.
Towards smooth conduct of the same, all
the District Educational Officers in the State shall ensure that all the Mandal
points shall be facilitated with high speed Broad Band internet immediately and
shall complete the installation before 20-12-2022.
The District Educational Officers /
Regional Joint Director of School Education shall take further necessary action
accordingly in the matter and also make necessary arrangements to conduct the
programme on a grand scale.
The Special Officers shall monitor
regularly and personally visit the District concerned oneday before and
participate in the first event in the district.
