Ref: Requests
received from the newly recruited teachers under MEGA DSC2025.
The attention of
the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and the District Educational
Officers in the State are invited to the reference cited. It has been brought
to the notice of the undersigned that certain newly recruited teachers under
MEGA DSC-2025 have sought clarification regarding the types of leave admissible
to them during the current calendar year 2024-25.
2. As per the
existing norms in the School Education Department, Gr. II Headmasters and
Teachers are eligible for 15 Casual Leaves (CLs), 5 Optional Holidays (OHs), 7
Special Casual Leaves (SPL CLs), and an additional 5 Special Casual Leaves for
women employees in a calendar year, besides the other types of leaves
admissible to Government employees as per the A.P. Leave Rules, 1933.
3. In this regard,
the newly recruited teachers under MEGA DSC-2025 have joined duty on
03.10.2025. Accordingly, they shall be eligible for proportionate leave for the
remaining period of the calendar year 2025, as shown below:
4. Therefore, all
the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and the District Educational
Officers in the State are requested to take necessary action accordingly and
communicate the above instructions to all DDOs for taking necessary action in
the matter.
