All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers and Mandal Educational Officers in the State are informed that the Entrepreneurial Mindset Development Program (EMDP) is being implemented in the state from the academic year 2021-22 to help the students of Government schools in developing an increased awareness of key mindsets of self-awareness, self-belief, grit, and independence, along with 21st-century skills like communication, problem-solving & collaboration through real-world projects with the help of Samagra Shiksha & SCERT,AP in all Government Schools in Andhra Pradesh.

Further they are also informed that two phases of this programme has already implemented in identified schools in the erstwhile districts of the state.36 Mentor Teachers from all over the State were trained at SCERT,AP,from25/1/22to27/1/22(3Days) and 634 Mandal Teachers were trained in their respective districts from 20/9/22 to 24/9/22 (2 spells, 2 days each) for State wide roll out (phase III)of this programme.

Now, it is proposed to train the teachers at least one 9thclass teacher from each school of all Government management High Schools (except withheld schools) in their respective mandals on 10th& 11thOct 2022 for two days by District level trained Mandal Teachers, under the supervision of Mentor Teachers. Mandal Educational Officers should organize these trainings together with mutual support of neighbour mandal. Further more, these mandal level trained teachers are expected to train the remaining teachers in their own schools by 13th October @ one teacher for Each 9th Class section.

The 50 mandals to be withheld from AP EMDP State-wide roll out in the AY 2022-23 for the sake of impact study/research. These 50 mandals, comprising 500 schools approximately, are selected as the control group based on the UDISE data. The teachers who were trained from these mandals would be deputed for the support of adjacent mandals in the district. List of withheld mandals enclosed

The trained teachers in EMDP will train the 9th Class students in the in respective schools from 14th October 2022 in the allotted periods as per the Academic Calendar 2022-23 and Mentor Teachers & Mandals Teachers will guide the teachers till end of AY 2022-23.

Two consecutive periods of every Friday will be utilized/dedicated for this program with a total of 25 hours of class room sessions and 20 hours of Project work. Refresher training will be provided online by GAME representatives as per requirement.

Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers and Mandal Educational Officers in the State are requested to select one Active teacher of 9th- Class from each school and depute them along with Mentor eachers and District level trained Mandal Teachers to attend the training in respective mandals for two days from 10/10/22 to 11/10/22 by 10.00 AM without fail.
