మహిళలకు మాతృత్వ సెలవులపై రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం శుభవార్త చెప్పింది. ఇద్దరు పిల్లలకు
మాత్రమే ఈ నిబంధన వర్తిస్తుందని గతంలో ఉన్న నియమాన్ని తొలగించింది. తక్షణమే ఈ ఆదేశాలు అమల్లోకి
వస్తాయని ప్రభుత్వం వెల్లడించింది.

ORDER:
In the reference read above, orders were
issued to enhance the maternity leave on full pay to married women employees of
State Government from 120 days to 180 days on par with the employees of the
Govt. of India subject to the condition that it shall be granted to those with
less than two surviving children only.
2. To enable balanced professional and
personal lives to the women employees and also to address demographic
management in the State, after careful examination of the matter, it is decided
by the competent authority that the limit on two surviving children for
availing the maternity leave needs to be relaxed.
3. Hence, the condition of less than two
surviving children for availing the maternity leave is removed with immediate
effect. The GO referred above will stand modified to that extent.
